Current Vacancies Installation Specialist!

EV Charger Installers (x1)

We’re hiring three installers to help with domestic and commercial EV chargepoint installations.

What you’ll be doing

  • Installing EV chargepoints at homes, rental properties and workplaces.

  • Running and terminating cabling, fitting containment, and making final connections.

  • Testing, commissioning, and completing job documentation.

  • Speaking with customers on site and keeping them updated in plain English.

  • Working safely, keeping the site tidy, and representing Green Plug professionally.

What we’re looking for

  • Electrical installation experience (EV experience is a bonus, not a must).

  • A strong eye for neat work and safe practice.

  • Confidence working independently and as part of a team.

  • A clean, reliable attitude: on time, respectful, and honest.

  • Full UK driving licence.

Nice to have

  • 18th Edition / inspection & testing experience.

  • EV-specific training or previous chargepoint installs.

Junior Sales Assistant (x1)

We’re hiring one junior sales assistant to support inbound enquiries and help customers move from “interested” to “booked in”.

What you’ll be doing

  • Answering calls and emails, and responding to web enquiries.

  • Asking the right questions to qualify leads (site type, parking, number of bays, timelines).

  • Booking surveys and installations, and keeping the diary running smoothly.

  • Following up warm leads and keeping notes up to date.

  • Supporting the team with simple quotes and customer updates.

What we’re looking for

  • Friendly, confident communication (phone, email, and messages).

  • Organised admin skills and attention to detail.

  • A positive mindset and willingness to learn.

  • Comfortable working with targets—without being pushy.

Great for someone who
Wants their first proper sales role in a growing company, and enjoys speaking with people and keeping things moving.

Operations Manager (x1)

We’re hiring an operations manager to keep installations running smoothly from enquiry to completion.

What you’ll be doing

  • Owning the day-to-day schedule for surveys, installs, and follow-up visits.

  • Managing installers/subcontractors, job allocation, and on-site coordination.

  • Making sure jobs are properly prepared: parts, paperwork, customer details, site constraints.

  • Improving systems and workflow so we stay fast, tidy, and consistent.

  • Handling escalations calmly and fixing issues before they become problems.

  • Reporting on job status, lead times, and operational performance.

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience as a qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, 18th Edition)

  • Experience managing field operations (electrical, construction, renewables, utilities, or similar).

  • Strong planning, communication, and problem-solving.

  • Comfort with juggling priorities while keeping quality and compliance high.

  • A “sort it” attitude—practical, calm under pressure, and solutions-focused.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of EV charging installs, compliance, or certification workflows.
